As you know, missions is very near and dear to our hearts. I have known for a long time that missions is part of my life’s purpose. It’s been my desire to serve others, especially in Spanish speaking countries along with my family.
Right before I left for Peru
As soon as my feet hit the ground in the Minneapolis Airport on my return from Peru Maranatha Christian Academy
She started a Health Challenge with a company called Visalus back in December just to lose a few baby pounds after having their third baby. She invited some friends to join her and in her first month of getting started she qualified for a BMW paid for by the company. The next month she helped 5 of her friends get into BMW’s! She continued to move through the ranks and in five months or so her husband was able to retire from the police force because they had doubled his income! It sounded good to me and we took off running with it. . .
It’s been a fast-paced ride with so many exciting things happening ever since. Paul and I qualified for our BMW only two weeks after we started. We worked REALLY hard for two weeks, but I tell people we worked really hard for TWO WEEKS! In our first month of getting started we made back our initial investment of $500, made our house payment, and earned a BMW. The month of July, two people on our team qualified for their BMW’s and we reached the rank of National Directors. This is for real. It’s the best opportunity I’ve ever seen. . .and we’ve seen and tried a lot of them!

It's exciting to see a dream and a vision come together, and while we don't know how all the details will work out, we anticipate great things! We believe Visalus is the Lord's provision for our family to pursue the call of missions on our lives. It’s not about money, it’s about freedom! And unlike traditional business where you work a 9-5 job, we get to help others share in the same success we’ve had. Plus, with the Body by Vi Health Challenge we get to help others get healthy, too!
Don’t worry. . .I’m still the same Megan :) I’ve not become money hungry or greedy. And if you see me straying off track, I give you permission to tell me so. The only way I hope I change is to become better. . .a better Christian, a better more generous steward, and a better leader.
This journey has not been without its struggles, but it will be worth it all! To God be the glory!
